Morphology: Nootka Rose is a fast-growing, deciduous, erect shrub. Covered with prickles, aggressive spreader. Watch out for the large prickles at the base of each leaf and along branches (absent on new growth). It is best known for its attractive pink blooms, and red rose hips that persist in the winter.
